                                                                                             COVID-19 Policy for Visitors:

Fully vaccinated/recovered travellers travelling from non-red listed countries must present a negative pre-travel PCR lab result valid for 48 hours from the time of departure in their country of origin. 

Travellers will be treated as fully vaccinated in case they have received two vaccination doses from the conditionally approved vaccine list and one dose of the  Moderna or Pfizer vaccine after 14 days of the last vaccine dose.

Travellers that require hotel quarantine must book the hotel quarantine.

Things to Keep in mind 72 Hours before Your Arrival in Qatar:

When arriving in Qatar, all visitors need to submit a negative PCR test result that is less than 72 hours old.

Register on Ehteraz and apply for your travel permit.

You will get a notification as soon as your travel permit is approved. Download and Print your Approved Travel permit. 

Travellers must carry the permit during their travel.

Before arrival in Qatar, travellers must fill out the form and sign the assurance and acceptance. The form is also available on the Ministry of Public Health website, the pre-registration platform website (www.ehteraz.gov.qa), and the airline online booking form.

General policy:

If the travellers arriving in Qatar experience any COVID-19-related symptoms, they should go to the COVID-19 test clinic at the entry port and take the necessary isolation measures.

Travellers should check the MoPH Travel and Return Policy regularly for the most up-to-date guidance based on country classification and health and safety measures. 

Before arrival in Qatar, all travellers are required to sign an Undertaking and Acknowledgement Form which is available on the Ministry of Public Health website, pre-registration platform website www.ehteraz.gov.qaand airline online booking form. 

Citizens and residents who had taken both doses of vaccines inside the State of Qatar arriving from one of the non-red listed countries are exempt from this requirement.

Non-residents of Qatar must register with the pre-registration system for people entering the State of Qatar on the www.ehteraz.gov.qa website and upload all related documents such as vaccine certificates at least 3 days before arrival.

Points to keep in mind for travellers who have recovered from COVID-19:

Firstly Keep in mind that Travelers whoever has recovered from COVID-19 in any GCC Country must have an official Certificate Confirming Previous COVID-19 infection and vaccination status.

For a period of 12 months starting from the 14th day of the recovery date, or 14 days after receiving the vaccine dose in case of recovery, all residents and citizens of Qatar who have recently recovered from COVID-19 infection and received at least one dose of a vaccine approved by the Ministry of Public Health will be treated the same as those who have received both vaccine doses.

                                                                                            COVID-19  Policy For Residents

Adults who have taken both doses of vaccine for COVID-19 from the Approved list of vaccines don't need to book a quarantined hotel unless arriving from one of the unusual Red List Countries.

Likewise, if you have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 12 months in Qatar, or in GCC countries and have received at least one recognized vaccine, you will not be required to be quarantined, unless arriving from one of the exceptional Red List Countries.

If you are travelling with children who are not vaccinated then you need to mention the MOPH travel and return policy to understand if you are free from quarantine or are required to manage a period of home quarantine or a hotel quarantine.

If you are an adult and are not completely vaccinated, please refer to the MOPH travel and return policy to check if you are allowed to enter the State of Qatar, and what your quarantine requirement recommends.

Johnson Vaccine
Pfizer/BioNTech Vaccine

Covaxin
Sinopharm vaccine
Sinovac

Travellers who have received two doses of a conditionally approved vaccine and one dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine will be treated as fully immune at the end of 14 days of the last vaccination.

Unvaccinated children belonging to the age group of 11 years and below arriving from an exceptional red list country with their fully vaccinated parents are subject to 2 days of hotel quarantine at their arrival.

Travellers who are considered fully immune will be free from hotel quarantine unless arriving from one of the uncommon Red List countries.
